PEN Argentine organise des ateliers de fiction flash pour les enfants dans les centres culturels de différentes "villas" (implantations informelles) et avec des délinquants mineurs dans un centre de redressement pour jeunes à Buenos Aires.

PEN relies on voluntary donations to deliver our vital work globally. There are many ways to be involved, and we are immensely grateful for any help we receive.

By pledging support as a Centenary Patron, you'll know that you're making a significant impact during our 100th year and into the future. As a Friend of PEN, you'll be helping with the security of our programme planning. You might also be interested in joining one of our Circles below.

PEN International Circles

The Readers Circle. The Writers Circle. The Publishers Circle. The Stage and Screen Circle. A worldwide community that weaves together the worlds of literature and free expression, PEN’s essential work is enabled by your commitment and your support – writers, readers, publishers, translators, bloggers and screen writers. Now nearly 100 years old, PEN operates on the cutting edge of creativity and opinion. Every year we are extending our reach and developing our support to writers around the world, from providing asylum support to writers at risk in Syria and Iran to ensuring that children in Guinea have access to mother language literature and education.

PEN International Circles

Publishers Circle In 2011 we established our Publishers Circle whose founding members were Penguin, Hachette Livre and Random House.

Writers Circle In 2015 we launched the PEN International Writers Circle for authors who wish to make a significant contribution to support the work of PEN International.

Readers Circle The Readers Circle brings together those passionate about the power of the written word, to support the essential work of PEN International in protecting freedom of expression and celebrating literature.

Corporate Partnerships

PEN International is grateful for the kind support and involvement of corporate partners. We are currently offering opportunities to sponsor our Centenary programme in 2021. PEN has 144 centres worldwide in 102 countries, and you can be sure your support will be far-reaching. Partnering with us can be tailored to your values, business needs, and market strengths – be that through a traditional Charity of the Year partnership, corporate grants, or essential pro-bono support. There are exciting sponsorship and programme development opportunities available too. If you are interested in having a discussion about how we could work together please email us here.

Trusts and Foundations

PEN International is grateful for the support given by trusts and foundations such as The Commonwealth Foundation, Natur & Kultur, The Evan Cornish Foundation, The Banyan Tree Foundation, The Fritt Ord Foundation, the Open Society Foundation, and the International Organisation of La Francophonie. Their key support helps us deliver our international programmes and to expand our work with Centres and with writers worldwide, helping to safeguard and strengthen freedom of expression.

If you are interested in supporting PEN International to increase impact and believe we may be a good fit for your trust or foundation, please email us here.

“For the five years and seven months I spent in prison, I held out the hope of freedom, because I am sure that having such wonderful people as you and an organisation like PEN International is a source of hope for me and everyone who aspires to freedom of opinion, thought, expression and writing. With all my heart... A thousand thanks to PEN International.”
