Joint submission to the Universal Periodic Review of Spain by Freemuse, PEN Català and PEN International

Freemuse, PEN Català and PEN International welcome the opportunity to contribute to the third cycle of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Spain. This submission evaluates the implementation of recommendations made in the previous UPR and assesses the Spanish authorities’ compliance with international human rights obligations with respect to freedoms of expression, information and peaceful assembly.
