Joint submission to the mid-term Universal Periodic Review of Bangladesh by Freemuse, Drik, and PEN International

Freemuse, Drik, and PEN International welcome the opportunity to contribute to the mid-term review of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) on Bangladesh. This submission evaluates the implementation of recommendations made in the previous UPR and assesses the Bangladeshi authorities’ compliance with international human rights obligations with respect to freedoms of expression, information and peaceful assembly.
